GUANGZHOU, China, November 25, 2024 – At the 2024 Guangzhou Auto Show, JIDU AUTO, a groundbreaking collaboration between tech giant Baidu and automaker Geely, also known as Jiyue in China market, revealed the ROBO X, an AI-driven hyper electric vehicle. The ROBO X redefines the future of mobility by merging cutting-edge AI capabilities, autonomous technology, and exhilarating performance into a visionary robotic hypercar. Under the sleek carbon fiber bodywork lies a powertrain that delivers truly breathtaking performance. Four electric motors propel the ROBO X from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.9 seconds, making it one of the fastest accelerating production cars in the world. With a range of up to 650 km on a single charge from its advanced solid-state battery pack, the ROBO X blends hypercar levels of performance with the efficiency and sustainability of an all-electric powertrain.

But the ROBO X is more than just a powerful EV, it is the world's first truly intelligent, AI-driven hypercar. At the heart of the ROBO X is JIDU's cutting-edge autonomous driving technology, powered by Baidu's Apollo computing platform and a sophisticated suite of sensors and cameras. This allows the ROBO X to be driven either manually by the human driver or autonomously, with the driving machine and driver seamlessly switching between the two modes.
The car features JIDU's Simo intelligent voice interaction system, which provides the driver with a wealth of real-time information and strategic advice to enhance the driving experience, whether in manual or autonomous mode. From motor torque and chassis dynamics to thermal management, Simo acts as an AI co-pilot, guiding the driver through every twist and turn on the road.

The ROBO X comes hot on the heels of the JIDU 01 Intelligent Sports SUV, launched in October 2023 and the JIDU 07 Intelligent Sports Sedan, launched in September 2024. These are the only smart EVs available on the market featuring intuitive voice interactive systems, both inside and outside of the vehicle, and they are the only ones with intelligent automatic doors that require no physical handles.
